MIKE'S TUTORIAL: FAST & EASY (DYNAMIC IMAGES)

Okay, listen up. You're going to like this because
1.  it's useful
2.  it's easy
3.  it's effective
4.  it's an attention grabber
5.  it adds PUNCH to what you have to say
6.  it appeals to the little kid in you
7.  and #6 likes easy!

Step 1.  Go to Hetemeel.com and pick one of the dynamic images that you see on the website.  Click on it.  I chose Uncle Sam to create the image on the left.  (Are you paying attention?)

Dictionary is another of my favorites.  You can create an image in Uncle Sam and import it into Dictionary.  But I'm getting carried
away here.

Step 2.  Put Uncle Sam to work for you.

(Deciding what to say can be the hardest part of the whole exercise.) Type your words into the box, and click on the "Preview Image" box.  The image may take some time to load, depending on your connection.

3.  Do not follow the instruction on the web page that says "If satisfied with the result, click on "Save this image" at the bottom of the page."  It won't save it to your computer.  Instead, take step 4.

4.  Right click on the image once you're satisfied, and save it to a folder on your computer.  You can create a new folder at this point, name the folder (so you can find it again, lol) name the new picture you've created, and choose the file format.  .jpeg works well on AR, as do some others.

5.  Upload your picture using the Little Green Tree icon.  (for uploading, sizing and placing pictures in AR,
try this:  BEFORE inserting it into your blog post, click the Appearance tab, click the pulldown menu and
select the alignment.

6.  Play with it.  Tip:  Do you see how the image below is a little too tight to the text above it?  I messed up!  You can fix that in your blog post by entering a value of 4 or 5 into the box marked Vertical space

The same thing applies to Horizontal space.
I chose a value of 6 to leave some white space between this text and the image
on the right.

Have fun!  I look forward to hearing about your success!

Other sites--ImageGenerator, for instance, have interactive images.  Please include favorite sites you use to create Dynamic Images when you comment.
