My goal for this week?  Watch this YouTube video at the start of each day and keep notes on what happens.  I'll blog about one result each day this week. Members Only!

Will you challenge yourself to do this with me?

EDIT:

Monday:  Phone lines down, but docs are out to title five days early.  A record!

Tuesday:  Phone lines up.  DSL down; no internet.  Three hours in the dentist's chair. Today was a struggle, and I didn't feel like I made enough steam to move the locomotive, but I took a new loan application.  The rest of you are encouraging to me.  Thanks!  (I'm opening this post from "members only" to public reading and commenting today.)

Wednesday: "The only thing that stands between a person and what they want in life is the will to try it and the faith to believe it is possible."  I think I must have ADD.  There are so many things that I really enjoy doing that it's easy to put something down for a moment and do something else.  My 212 degree moment for today is the realization that I can't do this with impunity any more than Tiger Woods can take off eight months from golf and not pay a price.  Today, each time I touched a file, I kept at what I was doing until it was done.  I can't afford to procrastinate for even ten minutes.

Thursday:  Up and out walking at 4:55 a.m.  GOOD MORNING, Gabrielle, and other early morning members of the Active Rain Fit Club group!  6:45, and I'm headed to the office.  It's a 45 minute commute each day, each way.  The morning commute includes a stop at Starbucks in the Albertsons on Speedway and Silverbell.  My extra degree this morning?  I'm going to ask for business while I'm standing in line waiting for my plain black coffee.  I'll let you know how it goes when I get home tonight.

10:00 p.m  I did ask for business today, and have two brand new loans in the pipeline as a result.  Active Rain provides a degree of "visibility" that I couldn't have imagined when I joined this network of blogging real estate professionals in July 2007.  Visibility and credibility.

Friday:  Second closing this week; things are definitely looking up.  I asked for business and got it.  One new mortgage application.  The 212 degree video has been a focus for me this week, and the focus works!  Thanks to each of you who participated; you're all winners in my book!
