My friend Kevin Wood lives and breathes golf. He shared this video with me. It's my pleasure to share it with you. It's the most encouraging story I've encountered this year.
Block out ten minutes. Take the phone off the hook. When it's over, bookmark it.
Come back the next time your client bolts, and you feel like quitting the industry.
Come back to it when that loan you were counting on is denied by the lender.
Come back to it when your personal life takes an unexpected turn south.
Come back to it when your broker announces that the doors are closing on a business into which you've poured your heart and soul.
Come back when you think you can't anymore. Because really...you can.

Mike, I don't have time now but will watch later. My favorite golf story is from the book the Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwarz. It is about a one handed golfer. He was asked you are better than most two handed golfers. He reply "I have found the right attitude and one hand beats the wrong attitude and two hands any day".
Hi Mike I cried through this whole video. it really touched my heart . My husband loved the game. He lived next to the golf course, instructed golf to many new golfers and golfed continually...golf and baseball, that was his thing. It was difficult when Parkinson and Alzheimer inflicted him. The most heart wrenching days were when he tried to conquer control of the club and swing at the ball. To see something he loved so much causing him so much pain...it was unbearable to watch.
I wish I would have had this remarkable video. Thank you for sharing. We all need to count our blessings and live life to the fullest....you are right I have already sent this video to others and have bookmarked it for those days when I feel sorry for myself. Thank you so much.
With what is going on today...we all need to reflect on ..others being worse off than we are. This has to get a feature so it won't get un noticed
Mike, all I can say is WOW! We have absolutely no reason to feel sorry for ourselves and say "I can't do it". I just wish he didn't feel embarrassed, he definitely didn't have anything to be embarrassed about! Thanks for sharing this clip!

Mike,
This is a great story about overcoming challenges. Thanks for sharing. I have bookmarked this post to come back to it when needed.
Thank you so much Mike, for sharing this. I did bookmark it, though I know one thing he said will never leave me:
"If I fall, I fall. It’s just another challenge."
And his the falls he endured are incredible: in front of the public eye. Mine will never be as public or as physical as his. But his attitude was honorable and inspiring. "So what? I'll just get back up and learn from my mistakes."
Amazing.
Hope all is well in Tuscon!
Blessings,
Dianne

Jim,
In a society where half the people are looking for a handout, this guy puts the world to shame! Awesome is a good word for him.
