Personalized Mapping with Platial: Useful Tool!

Inman posted this interview on August 22.  The Platial site allows us to add layers of content to maps, and to easily export to our own venues.  I think this will be huge for me.  Take a listen, and please comment with your idea on HOW we can use this in our businesses.

Let's start a list of ways we can use this tool to add value to listings, presentations, etc.  I also think it could be a useful tool for our Localism posts.

Mike:  Very interesting for sure.  I feel like technology is leaving me in the dust but I'm trying to step it up.  Your post was very informative and gave me some ideas when emailing listings to clients.  Thank you.

Mike - Ohhhh, this is exciting.  I need to do some mind mapping to figure out all the things we can do.  I'll check back with you later on this one.  Thanks for sharing this technology.

Donna, I miss my typewriter.  Technology isn't easy to master, and it's interesting to think that my grandkids who have mastered computers will plateau at some point, and when they're my age, they'll be struggling with something else, and wishing for the good old days.

Marlene, I'm trying to figure out how to upload a picture into a widget.  I think we'll be able to combine this "personal geography" with widgets.  What next?

WOW Mike that is way cool!  I have the ability to offer clients a Home Buyers Scouting Report through Golf Savings Bank, and it is very comprehensive in the number of items you can add to an interactive map, but I don't think it can do as much as this site promises.  I'll have to check it out!  Thanks for sharing!
