Tucson By Choice!: Silly Tucson Sunday Post

Silly Tucson Sunday Post

On my way home last night, I came across these 80 feathered clowns, just waiting to make a mess.

The irony of the situation made me pull into a business across the street, get out the old camera, and walk into the intersection to take the photo.

Pigeon poop at a high end carwash.

Couldn't they pick a better intersection to hang out?  LOL

THAT, is very, very funny.  I had to enlarge the photo to figure out what the point was, but when I saw the pigeons sitting on the light posts, it came to me.

Mike:  This is too funny!  I wonder if the owner of the car wash trained those birds to do that!  You were quick to see the humor and get a shot of it.  Funny stuff.  I hope Fran in Florida sees this one because he has just written a post about how too many members do not seem to be very humorous of late.

LOL!   They should have the ability to underscore words on their sign: We get rid of pigeons poop also!

Too funny.  That is about my luck though, reminds me of coming home from vacation and the birds seemed to have used my car as target practice.

High end car wash or bargin basement wash your car in the driveway I find that as soon as the car is clean some bird finds a way to dirty it.

The carwash owner obviously paints the poles with suet & bird seed. :)

LOL..That could a slimy mess for sure but then you'd have to get the car washed again...so maybe there is a plan there.

Hi Mike,
I agree with Linda, the birds are on the payroll or they should be.

Howdy Mike

Just maybe the car wash puts bird feed out, so the pigeon's will come there and help them have more repeat business.

Have a good one

It always amazes me when the birds flock together like this in the fall...what are they saying to each other....why now???
Posted by Bonnie & Terry Westbrook Grand Rapids MI Real Estate (Westbrook Realty) over 4 years ago
Well, Bonnie, it's like this.  They're flocking together because they have decided that the car wash is a restroom..

Rita,

Omigosh, am I behind on reciprocating comments!  Thanks for commenting!

Eric,

You just can't stay away, can you!  LOL.  It's good to see you.

Bonnie,

I listened, and I'd swear I heard one say "See that cream colored Lexus?  Watch the driver's side windshield..."

Joan,

Thanks for Santa.  ...and for the compliment.  You're the best.

Dale,

I hear they work for peanuts...  or less!

Eric,

I like your Dad's comment!  I'll look for a place to use that today.

Debbie,

Isn't that the truth?!  Thanks for stopping by to comment.

Cynthia,

On the payroll?   Have you been talking to Dale?

Eleanor,

You're welcome!  Thanks for visiting and commenting.

Monika,

There's a birdbrain organizer among the bunch.  And it looks like he's got a lot of followers.  Thanks for commenting.

Don,

The way they're all lined up, I think you're right!

Judy,

Either that, or it snows.  LOL

Kathy,

"...another post with a bunch of crap!"  You're too funny!  It's good to see you.

Barbara Jo,

Everyone's got an opinion, even the birds!

Kim,

Thanks for the photo.  It looks like you visited this car wash!

Kris,

Thanks for stopping by to comment; I'm glad we made you laugh!

Jeanean,

You're welcome!  Come back any time.

Linda,

I think they migrated here from Texas!  LOL

Donna,

I haven't see Fran in Florida--get him over here!  Thanks for commenting.  In a market like we're all experiencing, we need a little humor to get through the day.

Lenn,

Thanks for being the first to comment!  It's all in the details.

Mike, I remember attending a seminar and parking under some power lines.  When I came out my car was covered with  bird droppings.  I wonder if this carwash feeds the pidgeons?
Posted by Dan Forbes over 4 years ago
Best advertising they could get!  And none of those birds got paid a dime...

We noticed a hoard of ravens sitting on a power line coming home from dinner tonight... they weren't over a car wash, but I'll bet there were easily 50-60 on one stretch of power line.  I would have stopped for a picture, but it was 31 degrees below zero and my heated seats were feeling waaay too good. :)
