I'm going out on a limb at halftime. The Cardinals were about to take the lead or tie the game on the last play before halftime. Pittsburgh's #1 NFL defense did what they do so well. They scored a defensive touchdown.
What Warner and the Cards are doing, though, is working, and I'm predicting that they will win the game in the next half. I took this photo yesterday while driving through Glendale. Enjoy the rest of the game. The world will be seeing a lot more of this stadium, and learning more about our fantastic Cardinals!

I hope you're right, Mike. Springsteen put on a great haf time show
9:21 left in the 3rd quarter....guess there is still time! think positive!
Mike, Sorry.. now the score is 20-7. May just be a Silly Sunday prediction. Still some good plays left
Mike - I have the Cards by 3 - Do not ask me why, just a feeling....... Go Cards.
I still think it is a great game - alot of time left on the clock
It's not looking good. I just had to leave a party to bring my daughters home. I think I was the only one there for the Cardinals. Oh Goodness, Fitzgerald just caught a scoring pass! Maybe we'll pull it out for a great upset!!
Mike I have to agree with you. It ain't over til it's over.
Hey Mike, 20 -14 ....As Denise says, It ain't over til it's over!
Oh my....a touchdown! 23-20. Go Cardinals! And 2:57 left to go. Now this is an exciting game!
All,
Two minute warning! Cardinals up by 3! I'm waiting for the fat lady to sing...
Mike in Tucson
And it doesn't get much more exciting than that! Where's the fat lady when we need her?!

Mike - I wish, but in the end, the defense let them down.
I think she is in the kitchen eating.
Denise,
LOL
Larry,
There's next year! Wasn't that an exciting game!

You were pretty darn close to being right. I came in on the game at the half and what a thrill!
Mike, it was a good game. I think the touchdown at the end of the half was the difference maker. I was pulling for the Cards...

Great game and great half-time. Bruce was great, and I've never been a fan of his. Wow!
Cards played a great game, even if your prediction was off. :-)
Best Super Bowl game ever! Well, that I have watched anyway!
I was rooting for the Cardinals and thought they had the game won. Unfortunately two Ohio boys made the difference in this one. Harrison, a Coventry, Ohio high school product, took that interception all the way just before the half ended and Antonio Holmes (Ohio State) pulled in the winning TD. The Cardinals just didn't have enough time left on the clock to make up the difference. They started out slow but really came on. I thought they were going to do it; unfortunately they came up short.
I was sure the Cardinals had won and the the Steelers came back. Much better game than the media predicted. Both teams have a lot to be proud of.
Terry,
Both teams did well. It was an exciting game.
Ron,
Arizona had three men in the back corner of the end-zone, and not one of them was in position to smack that ball down.
Wendy,
It was the best I've ever seen!
Cheryl,
I didn't miss by much, but then, it's not horseshoes. Thanks for commenting.
Susie,
It was, wasn't it?!
Michael,
I agree. If they had pushed into the endzone right then, it would have been a different story. Great game, though!
Ann,
It sure was!

Hi Mike:
What a game! That interception for a touch-down right before the half, that was tough!
The last few minutes was so exciting...
My favorite was seeing Joe Willie with the Vince Lombardi trophy! (Jets fan here, you know...)
Mike - I'm fairly certain I saw that structure flying overhead in the Area 57 zone, with strobing lights as it went.
Myrl,
...and the Yosemite granite monolith in the background... :)
Toula,
It was a nail-biter to the very end! Thanks for commenting.

I had taken the Steelers 37-7. I'm sure glad it was more exciting than what I predicted. I heard that Kurt Warner had been texting God. I do wonder if God replied, or if the outcome of the game was his reply. Nonetheless, I'm a big fan of Mother and Father Nature, so I was rooting for the little birdies to take it to the big ol' belching smokestacks -- LOL.
Russel,
Now there's a new form of prayer! Texting. Thanks for rooting for the Cards!

Mike
I am certain that all Cards fans are more than proud! That was the best Super Bowl I've seen in years!
Hope all is well!
Bill,
Yes it was! Thanks for commenting.

Mike,
That was the bet Super Bowl game in memory I have seen! Talk about exciting!! The Cards did show up to play and play well they did!
Dorie,
I agree about the excitment part. I could have used a little more excitement in the last two minutes of the game, though. :)
